Guest wireless access up and running!

Guest wireless access was activated at all of the schools this weekend. The name of the network is SPS-WIRELESS-GUEST and there isn't any password required to connect, just a "splash screen" similar to Panera Bread (but not as fancy). The guest network will allow any students, parents, and visitors to connect their devices and access the internet. For security reasons, the guest wireless network does not have any access to our internal network, just internet access. Internet access is still filtered, as required by CIPA.

Use of the SPS Wireless Guest network is provided to students, parents, visitors and members of the community. Internet bandwidth allocated for the Wireless Guest network is limited to ensure that other instructional uses of the network are not interrupted. Use of the SPS Wireless Guest network falls under the district's Acceptable Use Policy, as well as all other applicable polices and laws.
